Radio Installation
When replacing your OEM radio some features are lost that the radio provides. With Metra Electronics’ accessories those features are retained. In this video we will layout the four basic components needed for a basic radio installation. Metra’s radio installation dash kits provide the plastic components to make the aftermarket radio fit and appear like a factory finish. Our radio wire harness makes wiring your aftermarket radio a breeze and connect directly to the OEM radio harness. Metra’s antenna adapters retain the OEM antenna and plugs right in to the aftermarket radio. Some vehicles are a little more complex and require a radio data interface. These interfaces can retain chimes, provide accessory power, provide navigation wires ( parking brake signal- reverse- speed sense), and retain steering wheel controls along with other features. Metra Electronics provides everything needed to make your installation quick, simple and seamless.
